Group Class

Service Description

Group Class is designed for owners looking to strengthen their training in a structured group environment. It provides an opportunity to practice skills alongside other like-minded handlers while continuing to build understanding, communication, resilience, and confidence between canine and human. This class is beneficial for almost all dogs, including those that struggle with reactivity, fear, overexcitement, anxiety, or social challenges. Our priority is helping each dog feel safe, neutral, and properly integrated into the group. How this looks varies by dog and handler, and training is always adjusted to meet individual needs. Classes typically begin with a structured pack walk to establish a pack. From there, we progress based on the group’s needs, which may include continued movement, focused drills, confidence-building exercises, or structured neutrality work. The goal is not to overwhelm dogs, but to guide them toward calm, balanced behavior. While new concepts may be introduced, Group Class primarily builds on skills already taught in 1:1 sessions. It is an excellent option for maintaining training, reinforcing structure, and continuing progress. Group Class can be attended alongside ongoing 1:1 training, and time is provided for questions and check-ins during class. Note: Group Class is available to clients who have completed an evaluation. Most owners begin with 1:1 training before attending Group Class. Evaluations are available for those new to Balanced K9ines and may be ready to handle Group Class, though additional sessions may be required to ensure readiness and safety.
